Our proximity to Broadway, the heart of the entertainment world, made it both natural and supernatural to use creativity as a tool for evangelism. With so many talented creatives living in and around the city—writers, actors, musicians, designers—it only made sense to harness that God-given artistry to create high-level productions that shared the hope of the Gospel in a way that connected with the culture of our city.
These productions weren’t just about putting on a good show. They were strategic, intentional moments of outreach—often centered around seasons when people are most open to the message of Jesus, like Christmas and Easter. We knew these were times when hearts were soft, questions were being asked, and invitations to church could be more impactful than ever. So, we leaned in.
What resulted were original musicals that combined real-life stories with biblical truth. Our creative team, filled with passion and prayer, wrote scripts that spoke to the struggles people faced every day—addiction, heartbreak, broken families, identity—and layered them with the redemptive power of Jesus. These weren’t abstract sermons or distant parables. They were raw, real, and rooted in the Gospel.
Planning and casting for these productions would begin months in advance. From auditions to rehearsals, to set builds and costume creation—countless volunteer hours were poured into every aspect of the experience. Entire teams of people gave up evenings and weekends to serve in any way they could—onstage and behind the scenes. It wasn’t about the spotlight—it was about souls.
We honor those volunteers who showed up time and time again. The ones who prayed over scripts, sewed costumes late into the night, rigged lights, ushered guests, and sang their hearts out onstage. These productions could not have happened without your commitment, your excellence, and your love for people.
Every performance was an immersive experience. From the set design and costumes to the lighting and sound, no detail was too small. Every element worked together to tell a story of hope—one that didn’t just entertain, but invited. Invited people to see themselves in the characters. Invited them to ask deeper questions. Invited them to take a step toward Jesus.
And people responded.
We saw hundreds give their lives to Christ at the close of these performances. People who came because of a flyer, an invite, or simple curiosity were suddenly confronted with the love of God in the most unexpected way—through a musical. Families came together, addictions were broken, lives were forever changed.
Today, that legacy continues. We remain committed to telling the story of Jesus in ways that resonate with the world around us—because when creativity meets conviction, lives are changed for eternity.
