Before there was a stage, a Sunday service, or even a congregation, there was prayer. That’s how the story of Christ Tabernacle—now Saints Church—began. In a small room known as the “Blue Room,” a faithful few gathered to seek the presence of God. There were no crowds, no worship sets, no ministry agendas. Just hearts fully dependent on the Lord, crying out for Him to move.

They weren’t planning a church.
They were birthing one in prayer.
That heart posture continues to define who we are today. We believe that prayer is our first response, not our last resort. It’s not something we tack on to our ministry—it’s the power that sustains it. Every decision, every sermon, every small group, every outreach effort—it all begins and ends in prayer.
Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” That’s not just a nice verse for us—it’s how Saints Church has always operated. We don’t want to move unless God is leading the way. And that leading is found in the place of prayer.
Because when God’s people pray, anything is possible.
To this day, our Prayer Band—a team of committed intercessors—continues to lay the foundation for everything God is doing at Saints Church. They pray during the week. They pray during services. They cover every aspect of our ministry in prayer, believing God to move in powerful, supernatural ways.
And that’s why our midweek prayer meeting is so vital. It’s not just another event on the calendar—it’s the lifeline of our church. It’s where we align our hearts with heaven, intercede for our families, our city, and our world. It’s where we thank God for what He’s done and ask Him to do what only He can do next.
If Sunday is the celebration, Wednesday is the preparation. It’s where breakthrough begins.
There’s something powerful about gathering midweek—not for entertainment or consumption—but for connection with God. In the middle of busy schedules and challenging seasons, we stop to remind ourselves that we are not in control—God is. And when we pray, we’re inviting heaven into our everyday lives.
Prayer changes things.
It changes hearts.
It changes circumstances.
And most importantly, it changes us.
If you’ve never been to a midweek prayer meeting, consider this your invitation. Come with your needs. Come with your gratitude. Come with your faith—or even with your doubts. Just come. Whether you whisper or weep, shout or sit in silence, your presence matters. Your prayers matter.
We are a church that believes everything starts and ends at the prayer meeting. It’s where Saints Church was born, and it’s where our future will continue to be forged.
So let’s be a praying people.
Let’s gather.
Let’s intercede.
Let’s believe.
